Longboard Loft Closed Thurs, March 31 – Opens in new LES location Friday, April 1!

That’s right. We are sorry to inform you that the Longboard Loft will be closed on Thursday, March 31. This is good news, though, because we are closing down to move store locations from Bustin Boards in Williamsburg to the new store in Lower East Side, Manhattan at 132 Allen St. This will take us all day, so we’ll be reopening the Longboard Loft on Friday at noon in Manhattan! Custom Setups leaving Longboard Loft on the daily

Here’s the latest, sweetest setup I’ve seen leave the shop lately. I finally got the chance to feel Rotule Speed Karrot underfoot, and wow, it was a pleasure. They describe the shape as a “dome concave” and that is exactly how it feels. Not your typical W, the foot is comfortably cupped in the middle with harsh slopes at the edges to lock in tight for slides and hard carves down hills. The board is very lightweight for it’s size and extremely stiff, just as it should be given its purpose. Continue reading
